REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY AND ITS REGIONAL INSTITUTES COMPLETED TRAINING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED MANAGEMENT STUDIES IN MANNHEIM, THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY


This project is carried out within the framework of cooperation between the In-service Training Institute for Senior Executives of the National Academy and the University of Applied Management Studies in Mannheim, Germany, in partnership with the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the Zeitstromhaus centre the participants got acquainted with the project of the military town reconstruction for the use of existing buildings as an affordable housing for the townspeople.

A visit to the Mannheim Department of Personnel Management was interesting and informative, there the participants were told about the strategic development of personnel management at the local level, focusing on the need for appropriate education, competence skills of employees and teamwork skills.

The participants learned about the principles of training, internships of students, the activities of scientific and pedagogical workers and employees, the scientific component and international cooperation at the University of Applied Management Studies, due to the importance of the formation of intercultural competence.

Also, the issues of management in professional activity were discussed. During a seminar, the participants discussed the basic principles of management, communication and cooperation of the municipal government of Mannheim, as well as the specifics of cooperation between the University and the municipality.

The visits to the MAFINEX centre supporting start-ups as well as to the partner company Metzgerei Hambel were interesting and informative as well.

In the course of the work, the representatives of the National Academy and its regional institutes the participants of the project presented the modules of the training manual, which is planned to be published in the framework of further cooperation.

As a result of the visit, Michael Nagy, Director of the University of Applied Management Studies in Mannheim, awarded the representatives of the National Academy and its regional institutes with the certificates.

Vasyl Kuibida awarded the certificates to the participants, who successfully completed the trainers-consultants training programme of the international project Professionalization and Stabilization of Ukrainian Municipal Management-II.

According to the agreements reached during the negotiations with the senior management of the University of Applied Management Studies, the parties will continue their further cooperation.
