PROFESSOR OF THE HONG KONG UNIVERSITY ANATOLIY OLEKSIENKO HOLD COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DESOVITIZATION WAYS IN THE ERA OF TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY

On September 20, 2018, the thematic meeting of students, post-graduate students, doctoral students and scientific-pedagogical staff with the professor of the Hong Kong University Anatoliy Oleksienko on the topic China and Ukraine: a comparative analysis of the ways of desovitization in the era of the scientific and technological revolution was held at the National Academy.

The First Vice-President of the National Academy Anatoliy Savkov, representing a distinguished guest a student of the Institute of Public Administration and Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (1992-1993), emphasized the importance of attracting the best graduates of the academy to the educational process.

Professor Oleksienko at the beginning of the meeting stressed that Ukraine and China have different possibilities. However, according to the scientist, a common element of a successful policy, the key to progressive development, can be a qualitative analysis of processes in the social and humanitarian sphere. Almost in equal political and economic pre-disposition with other systems of the Soviet type, China strategically successfully used the internationalization of its institutions for the development of international trust, was able to attract foreign investment, create all conditions for the development of skills and behavioral adaptations of scientific personnel, managers and skilled technological workforce. This has enabled the creation of capital that has gained global recognition and influence for the nation. At the same time, as the scientist emphasized, economically-oriented desovitization did not make China a democratic system, and vice versa - the former carrier of sovietization began to become one of the revanchist forces with the return to power of Soviet people in recent years.

According to the professor, the common features between Ukraine and China from the Soviet Union are the ancient history, the trade route, the diversity of the ethnic background, the fateful internecine wars, conflicts, colonialism, the patriarchal structure, the importance of family / clan / peasant relations, the hierarchy of thinking, mistrust of power and the meritocracy, the attraction to corruption, the fear of losing independence. At the same time, the great difference between Ukraine and China is the harsh hierarchy in labor relations.

During the speech, much attention was paid to the issue of education. According to Professor Oleksienko, the PRC is extremely capable of developing a system of education, which is why Beijing universities can now compete with the best universities in the world, such as Harvard.

Students and scientific and pedagogical staff had the opportunity to ask Professor Oleksienko questions and to hear his opinion on various issues of state-building processes in the context of comparative analysis of Ukraine and China.
