Ways of cooperation within the Project Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement were discussed


On 26 September 2016 at the National Academy the President of the National Academy Vasyl Kuybida met with the representatives of the EU Project Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (Association4U) Team Leader Janos Zakonyi, Key Expert on Human Resources Development Mark Pinder, Senior Trainer Maryna Chulaievska.

Janos Zakonyi told about the implementation of the Project Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the leading partner and the beneficiary of which is the Government Office for European Integration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Participants of the working meeting acquainted with the components of the Project implementation, including the legal approximation and policy implementation; human resources development; policy development, harmonization and coordination within the framework of the Association Agreement implementation; public relations and information policy.

According to Vasyl Kuybida, the National Academy is interested in further cooperation and involvement to implementation of certain areas of the Project. The process of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement implementation significantly depends on both the efficiency of public administration decisions and the level of executives education, his or her outlook, values, understanding of the European integration processes and operation of deep comprehensive knowledge in the field of politics, economy and European integration.

During the meeting, Vasyl Kuybida and Janos Zakonyi discussed the areas of cooperation of the National Academy as a higher education institution that provides scientific and methodological support for training, in-service training, specialization and advance training of public servants, within the framework of the Project Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. The parties also shared their opinions on the implementation of the training programme Induction Training for Translation Fellows; involvement of scientific and pedagogical staff, doctoral students, postgraduate students to participation in training programmes organized by the EU Association4U Project; development of training programmes and preparation of the educational materials in various areas of European integration processes for training of public servants and local self-government officials; creation of interactive information and communication platform on the basis of the National Academy for conducting trainings on the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
