REPRESENTATIVE OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY HAS GIVEN INTERNATIONAL TRAINING AT WARSAW UNIVERSITY


On 28 June – 28 July 2019, the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw held the XXIX Eastern Summer School (Wschodnia Szkola Letnia), with the participation of Assistant Professor of the Chair of Regional Administration, Local Self-Government and City Administration of the National Academy Serhii Horbliuk.

The Summer School was organized for young researchers of the social sciences from Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Central Asia and the Caucasus. The program of the School consisted of a series of lectures and seminars with the participation of leading scholars from Poland, Western Europe and the USA. Participants were provided with educational tours on the history of art and culture in Poland, as well as presentations of public institutions, archives and scientific libraries. During the School period, the 15th annual Warsaw East European Conference was held, focusing on the issue of the post-Soviet space three decades later.
